Understanding Custody & Visitation Changes in Lehi
When it comes to changing a parenting plan, there are basically two types of modifications:
- A custody modification occurs when the court orders that the current custody arrangement be changed.
- A visitation modification occurs when the court orders that the current visitation schedule be changed.
Generally, a modification of a custody or visitation order will be granted if there has been a substantial change in circumstances since the original order was entered.
